The actress starred with Sandra Bullock as a co-star on Murder by Numbers. Agnes Bruckner - born 16 August 1985, is an American actress and model. Her first appearance on television was during the latter half of 1990 and was later seen in numerous films including The Woods, Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate as well as The Anna Nicole Story. Bruckner made her debut at age 11. Her appearances were on a couple of television pilots and the drama for daytime, The Bold and the Beautiful which aired in 1999. Bruckner was first seen in a role as a teenager in Blue Car (2002). Bruckner portrayed a high-school girl engaged in a romantic relationship with her teacher played by David Strathairn. The film writer Roger Ebert wrote that Bruckner negotiates this difficult film with total conviction. Bruckner received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award for "Best female lead" in this part. She was raised with her three siblings: with two sisters and a brother. They regularly practiced Hungarian to keep her fluency. Bruckner was born in Hollywood California to a Hungarian father as well as a Russian mother who have since divorced. Her paternal grandfather is German. In Hungary, her parents initially met before moving to America in 1984 via a refugee settlement in Italy. She has a sibling and brother.
